1MDB offers academic awards to Chinese Independent Secondary School students

1MDB partners Dong Jiao Zhong (Dong Zong, United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia and Jiao Zong, United Chinese School Teachers Association) and Huaren to provide academic grants to Unified Examinations Certificate holders from Chinese independent schools to help with their tertiary studies.  So far, 150 students have received this grant, which was introduced in 2010.
