Nadi Kasih project to repair dilapidated house

Under Nadi Kasih project, 1MDB aims to repair 10,000 dilapidated houses within the period of two years.  The first phase will involve repairing 3,000 houses, while the rest will be repaired under the second phase of the project.

The project supports the Government’s aim to improve the quality of life for the rural poor.The houses will be selected by way of nomination through each area’s Member of Parliament.  The nominated house will then be inspected to confirm their eligibility as well as to determine the extent of repair needed.

Depending on the amount of work required, the houses will be repaired by way of community gotong-royong, by contractors or via the assistance of military personnel.
