We believe education is an inclusive tool to secure a brighter future for all. Our priority in our CSR work has been to improve access to education to develop talents, bridge gaps and enrich lives.

We believe in creating opportunities for Malaysians from diverse backgrounds to move up the value chain, and to support initiatives that have a cascading effect to benefit more people.

We strive to help remove barriers and build bridges for the disadvantaged communities and help them move into the mainstream of society.

In whatever we do, the main guiding principles for all our initiatives involve:

  • Selection of projects with wide multiplier effects to the society while ensuring they complement 1MDB's core activities; and
  • Supporting efforts that narrow key gaps amongst the people, resulting in sustainable, long-term economic developments
