The lack of English proficiency cost rural youth the chance to prove themselves. Faisal realizes this having conducted various English seminars and workshops in Pahang. He now plans to reach out to 12 more rural areas around the country with the similar approach.
WHAT ?
This is workshop aims to improve the English language and soft skills among students from the rural and urban marginalised area in Malaysia using the fun-in-learning approach.
WHY ?
After organizing similar workshops in other rural areas, Faisal has concluded that students in the rural area are facing difficulties to improve their grasp in reading and writing English. This workshop will enable the students to gain better practice in the language and increase their chances to secure a good job in the long run.
HOW ?
About 200 secondary school students nationwide will be picked to participate in a 2-day workshop conducted by 5 trained facilitators. The mentor-mentee approach will excite the students to learn better and enjoy themselves while improving themselves at the same time.
