KUALA LUMPUR, 4 April 2012: The desire for a cleaner environment is driving a group of youths from Lahad Datu, Sabah, to run a waste management campaign to improve the cleanliness of the local wet market and the Lahad Datu seafront.
PETALING JAYA, 31 May 2011: Another 10 youths will benefit from the RM20 million Dana Belia 1Malaysia (Dana Belia) fund to realise their aspirations for a 1Malaysia.They will collectively receive RM810,000 to fund their respective projects. The sum received vary according to their applications and as determined by the selection panel.
Of the 10 recipients, seven were selected by Yayasan 1MDB’s internal panel.

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 January 2011: The Dana Belia 1Malaysia, a grant worth RM20million funded by government-owned strategic development company 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), was launched today to provide young people with a platform to express their hopes, ideas and creativity through projects that promote unity.
The Dana Belia 1Malaysia was created to engage young Malaysians between 15 and 40 years old, by providing them with an avenue to initiate their own projects centred on the theme ‘Nurturing Unity’, without the additional burden of seeking funds.
