What if the world is run by the young? Not that incredible a notion if you think about it, since many of the day’s biggest challenges will affect youth the most. Basing his project on the UN Youth Delegate model, Ze Tong wants to draw more youths towards the sphere of decision making by creating awareness and impacting the society though small community improvement projects.
A week long congress of 100 youths to help youth engage better to their society, learn more about the challenges and most importantly, work to make a difference
Youths need to know they have a say in shaping their society, that their contributions are needed and that they can make a difference. But while youth usually have all the energy and passion, many do not know where to start. This week long workshop will serve to guide them on how they can turn their passion into action.
The congress is divided into three parts: barcamp-style workshops running concurrently, led by an invited experts of the field; round table sessions where experts and participants discuss and exchange opinions; and action projects where youths work together in real-life community projects.
