Football – a family affair ! Meet Zahid, a young enthusiastic lad from Damansara who grew up watching his father train aspiring footballers. The Akademi Bola Sepak Kota Damansara has been a training ground for youngsters for the last 12 years. Now, Zahid intends to further reach out to boys from all walks of life to chase their ultimate sports dream. Zahid is fanatical about the sport and foresees a very competitive and engaged Malaysia in the football arena.
This program will be a football development program to be carried out at the Akademi Bolasepak Kota Damansara. It includes intensive trainings and football competitions which will draw together boys from across the country to participate.
The love for football by the Malaysian youth is profound and what better way to harness this energy than through an incentive training ground for Football Superstar hopefuls? It is time the hype and adrenaline that Malaysians get into during a particular championship be channeled to improve the quality of our young footballers.
This program, borne out of a family’s passion, will serve to remodel current training structure. It seeks to scout and train footballers age 12 and below from schools around the area six hours a week. Various tournaments will be held as a catalyst for healthy competition. The program will also subsidize the fees for talented underprivileged kids wishing to join the Football Academy.
