Badrul Hisham - Director, Corporate Finance

Badrul has spent over 18 years in financial services with local and international investment banks. He specialises in Project Financing and has worked on projects of various disciplines such as power, toll road, water and port. He has worked on various infrastructure deals in multiple jurisdictions. Badrul holds a B.Sc in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and a MBA in Finance from San Diego State University.

Kelvin Tan - Director, Research

Kelvin has broad experience in a variety of multinational energy companies, both in Malaysia and internationally. He began his career in the Oil & Gas sector with Royal Dutch Shell. Prior to joining 1MDB, he was a strategy consultant for Accenture. Kelvin has a Degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Norma Mohd Razalli - Director, Human Resource

Norma has 17 years in human resource management and operations management. She first taught the subject before managing human resource for multinational corporations in the IT industry, a leading food manufacturer and a public-listed telecommunication company. Prior to joining 1MDB, she was the HR Director of a premier banking group. Norma graduated with a Bachelor of Management Studies.

Dennis See - Director, Corporate Social Responsibility

Dennis has 15 years in corporate communications and trade promotion for both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining 1MDB, he was the communications director of the National Economic Advisory Council and the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department. Dennis earned his Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Knox College, Illinois, USA and Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the American University, Washington DC, USA.

Vincent Koh - Director, Investments

Vincent has more than 10 years of experience in investment, strategy & business planning, business management and business development. He has worked directly and alongside business owners, entrepreneurs and senior professional executive managers and held senior positions in those companies operating in a wide range of industries. Prior to joining 1MDB, he was the chief operating officer of a Kuala Lumpur-based private equity firm.

Tan Hwa Min - Director, Investments

Hwa Min has over 13 years of experience in management consulting, technology, operations management and business development. He specializes in planning and leading complex organization-wide transformation programs. His assignments have led him to work with various global companies and across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining 1MDB, he was a Senior Manager with a global consulting company. Hwa Min holds a Degree in Computer Science with Management Science from the University of Kent (UK) and a MBA from Imperial College (UK).

Robeatul Adawiah Mohd Redzwan - Director, Risk Management

Robeatul has more than 10 years’ experience in risk management, including addressing risk related to Islamic Banking. She has established core risk policies and managed risk in foreign exchange, money as well as derivatives markets. Prior to joining 1MDB, she was Head of Risk Management for a leading Islamic financial institution. Robeatul graduated with a Degree in Accountancy Studies from University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom.

Kelvin Low - Director, Treasury

Kelvin has 15 years of experience in the treasury markets gained from the banking and corporate treasury sectors. He brings with him vast knowledge in all aspects of treasury management including various fund-raising activities both locally and overseas. Prior to joining 1MDB, he was the Head of Group Treasury at a leading automotive manufacturer. Kelvin had his tertiary education in the UK, graduating from Essex University with a B.A and M.A in Economics.

Ahmad Ridzal Ahmad - Director, Project Management, 1MDB Real Estate

Ahmad Ridzal is an expert in project management and development of land. He has lead teams in various operational and financial property development strategies specializing in project implementation and relocation. Prior to this, Ridzal was the Chief Executive Officer of a leading Malaysian property company. He also has worked with several leading property management establishments in the last 20 years. Ridzal holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University, Illinois, USA.

Shahrul Azhar Zainal Abidin - Director, Project Management, 1MDB Real Estate

Shahrul Azhar is a civil engineer with 25 years of working experience with contractors, consultants and developers. He is an experienced project manager, and has vast knowledge of Procurement of Contracts, Design Management, Construction Management, Contract Administration and Project Close Up. Shahrul was previously  the Chief Operating Officer of a property company in the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Portsmouth, UK. Shahrul is also a registered engineer from Board of Engineers, Malaysia and a Member of Project Management Institute, USA.
